Consequences of early pregnancy.

Pregnancy is life altering.

It is bringing a whole human being into this world.

It is adding more bills into your already financially strained life.

It is not being able to go out because you are exhausted.

It is not getting enough sleep.

It is staying up all night trying to soothe a colicky baby.

It is buying diapers.

It is paying school fees.

It is lining up for books at the bookstore.

It is giving up some of your dreams and aspirations because children need too much. They demand so much of us.

It is a process that alters your body forever.

It needs preparation on three levels. Physically, emotionally, and financially.

You already have a Tala loan, this cold season should not make you think you can handle the financial pressures of having a baby.

You can't climb a flight of ten stairs without gasping for air, do not imagine for a second that your body is strong enough to experience labor.

Each time you have a flu, it almost takes you out. You spend several days in bed crying and crawling to the kitchen to make yourself sawa. Do not think for a second that your body would survive the constant flus these kids collect from school.

You are in school, you are at the beginning of your career, I beg you not to let pregnancy derail you. Dropping out of school and seeing your classmates graduate will hurt you deeply.

Losing out on the first years of your career while your peers are out there building resumes and establishing themselves will send you into depression. You might even end up resenting a child who didn't ask to be here.

Have sex but do not lose focus on what is most important to you in the present.

Have sex but do not forget to use Condoms.
Have sex but if a condom breaks please get the morning after pill the following morning and give up your life to Christ because that is the universe trying to set you up.

And if you get pregnant, you can always reach out to Senje Hotline  for your send it back to sender needs.

You should only have a child when you know you are ready to deal with everything they bring. The joys and the ugly.

Nothing ever hurts young women than getting pregnant before they are ready so I hope you are all making the right reproductive choices. They are the true marker of what your life will become.

Happy New Week!
